This part of the land lies towards the end of the proposed site where we are going to create a food forest as an extension of the neighborhood park. Reckless development, road expansion, industrial processes of extraction, production, and consumption have detracted natural resources and depleted topsoil. Given the ecological emergency.  We need Earth-aligned creativity as never before.  The meadows will form and the food forest will grow becoming more resilient and biodiverse over the years. Most importantly it will provide a natural habitat for other species disturbed by the fragmentation of urban.

Once the ecosystem of this food forest is maintained it will open for the public. Engaging the community in making a food forest means, increased capacity raised awareness and connections. It is important to design strategies that bond communities rather than divide them.

Soil test and plant, tree species composition. We pay attention from micro to the macro. We are testing soils of different sites for comparison to improve our understanding of soil conditions and resilience. I want to translate these information’s into artworks, songs, poetry and share it with the general public to draw attention to local environmental hazards, and the levels of toxins left in the soil left by humans.
